Description of Service

Orbit 2026 is a real-time satellite tracking visualization. It displays satellite positions calculated from publicly available Two-Line Element (TLE) data. The application is provided for informational and educational purposes.

Accuracy Disclaimer

Satellite positions are calculated using SGP4 orbital propagation from TLE data provided by CelesTrak. While we strive for accuracy, orbital predictions are approximations. Do not rely on Orbit 2026 for safety-critical applications, navigation, or collision avoidance.

Intellectual Property

The Orbit 2026 application, including its source code, visual design, shaders, and branding, is the property of David Hodge. Satellite orbital data is sourced from public domain datasets.

Third-Party Data

  • TLE orbital data from CelesTrak
  • Earth imagery from NASA Blue Marble
  • Map tile overlays from OpenStreetMap contributors

Limitation of Liability

Orbit 2026 is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. David Hodge is not liable for any damages arising from the use of this application.

Beta Software

TestFlight builds are pre-release software and may contain bugs. By participating in the beta, you accept that the software may not function as expected.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Orbit 2026 constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
